Jon Houg Named Vice President of Operations for the Washington State Convention Center

Seattle - Washington State Convention Center (WSCC) has selected Jon Houg to lead their Operations team. As Vice President of Operations, Houg will be responsible for the management and review of the daily operations which includes building operations, event services, security, and capital projects.  

“We are very pleased with the addition of Jon to our management team,” said Jeffrey Blosser, WSCC President and CEO. “He is a strong leader with the knowledge and experience needed to help WSCC continue to grow and excel in this very competitive industry.”

Houg is coming to WSCC after having served as Deputy Director for the City of Tacoma, Tacoma Venues & Events Department for the past six years. Houg started with the City of Tacoma in 2004, serving in several capacities. Houg will begin his position June 10, 2019.
